Apolo

Hello, I am Apolo! The caretakers named me after the Greek god of beauty. I think, there is nothing more to say... I’ve been living at Can Gossos for quite some time now, and thanks to the great progress I’ve made, I am now ready to live in a family. When I first arrived at the shelter, everything scared me a lot. Luckily, I made friends with two female dogs who gave me a lot of confidence and were crucial for my emotional recovery. As a good Podenco, I get along very well with other dogs, but I’m a bit reserved around people. I need some time to connect with new humans, but once I see that I can trust them, I relax and start seeking contact. I walk well on a leash, but since I’m a cautious guy, I need time to adjust to my surroundings. Patience during walks is very important for me; I really appreciate being allowed to observe what’s happening around me before I’m prompted to move on.
