Silvia

Hello! My name is Silvia, a young and loving dog, and I am looking for my forever home. I enjoy being around people (I love cuddles) and I get along well with other dogs too. At Can Gossos, I share my kennel with my mom (Fina). My previous family had a fenced yard that I called home, but they decided there was no more space for us, so we were abandoned. That's how my mom and I ended up at Can Gossos. I'm an active and energetic dog, I would say that the walks are the highlight of my day — they really excite me. When I'm out and about, my hunting instinct kicks in (which is very typical for a Podenca like me), especially when I see rabbits (luckily, there are many rabbits to observe here). In these moments, it's a bit hard for me to stay calm on the leash, but I would love to learn how to handle these stressful situations better. I know that with patience and your support, I can improve this behavior, which is common for my breed. As I mentioned before, I'm very friendly and loving, and the caretakers say every day how happy I am. If you're looking for a loyal and lively companion, I'm just the right one for you!
